The Dolby certification process requires from an applicant, among other things, to perform the tests in-house and send the results to be reviewed by the Dolby Laboratories. These tests are the same which the Dolby Laboratories will perform in their laboratories and are well defined in the Dolby Digital Decoder Implementation Test Procedure document.
Automated Dolby Digital (Plus) test suite enables DTV and set-top-box (STB) manufacturers with the possibility to execute the certification procedure in-house, at any time.
Main features
- The entire DD test verification suite performs in 24 hours
- The test results presented in Dolby templates as required by the certification procedure
- Tester can concentrate on the audio quality and test results examination, and let the suite do the monotonic and boring configuration, and execution
- Possibility of configuration mistakes is avoided
- Full coverage and analysis of the analog/digital interfaces depending on the Device Under Test (DUT)
The Dolby Digital (Plus) automatic test environment consists of
- PC station running RT EXECUTOR with the test project
